Going back to Georgia for winter quarter of college, how much winter clothes should I bring?
I'm from Maryland but I'm attending college in Georgia and I've never spent a winter in Georgia so I don't know what the weather is like, how much winter items should I bring?

I live in Georgia, and we have very inconsistent winters. I suggest you just buy 1 or 2 hoodies, a North Face, and a light hat and gloves. Seriously, it doesn't get cold at all here. Right now it is 48 degrees.
Answer 2 :
About 2 70lbs suitcases at least
Answer 3 :
I live in Georgia. The coldest it ever gets is around 20 degrees maybe. Right now it's about 35 i think. However, the past few days it's been in the upper 60's! All you'll need is one thick coat and some sweaters. Jeans and long-sleeve shirts. I'm wearing flip flops today( but my feet aren't that sensitive to the cold) Have fun!!

I do not live in Georgia but I do live at the bottom of South Carolina which is about an hour or two from Georgia. The weather is very back and forth here. Yesterday it was 68-70 and you could wear short sleeves outside comfortably, now today it is about 37 outside and I am wearing a sweater. If I were you, I would bring about a weeks worth of sweaters (7), Long-sleeved shirts (7), t-shirts, short-sleeved shirts, and a few hoodies and jackets. Maybe also a couple of scarves and a hat or two. Around here you can easily get caught off guard...you think it will be cold one day and its nice enough outside to barbeque. Don't forget to bring jeans, khakis, and a few capri pants...also pajamas! Basically I would just pack for both warm and cold weather. Don't get stuck only bringing winter clothes.
Answer 5 :
just a goose down vest and some long sleeves. tough it out its not like winter in the north

Chances are, you go to UGA or Tech to be so far away and if so, those two cities [Athens and Atlanta] NEVER gets that cold. Just bring a real jacket or a coat, maybe a light scarf, and you'll be fine. As long as you have that coat! If you really worry, bring five long sleeve shirts and two sweaters. I live in the Athens area and I probably only own four long sleeve shirts, two of which I got at UGA events, and I'm fine. Because I have my coat! :0] Bottom line: get a coat.
