Answer 1 :
Um SCAD is a GREAT school.. not sure about the Hope scholarship. GOOD LUCK! That is what I majored in and LOVE IT!!!!
Answer 2 :
SCAD would be good, but very expensive. I just heard about an hour ago about North Georgia Technical College just outside of Clarkesville, GA, up I985 and GA 365 NE of Atlanta. You don't need to travel far from home. Most of the 2 year public college, all of which will take HOPE, offer enough for you to get started, at least, and then (if you want) you can transfer to one of the larger universities. Another good one would be the Art Institute of Atlanta, but some of the best professional photographers have gone to UGA. Private colleges only get a small bit of your HOPE. For instance, my son went to Young Harris and HOPE only paid for $1000/term. That might be more now, but the cost of college has gone up dramatically. Also, most of the 2 year colleges offer courses at night through adult education. THat is not enough to get your a Bachelor of Fine Arts, but, again, it will get you started.
Answer 3 :
SCAD SCAD SCAD SCAD SCAD go for it I enjoy it! Housing isnt the best though =/

Answer 1 :
not exactly but they do have cheerleaders, cause im attending the school this winter to play football
Answer 2 :
Well, I see on their website that they have a team: http://www.gmc.cc.ga.us/milledgeville/cheer.html But there is no contact or tryout info listed. Perhaps you should email or call the school and find out how you can connect with the coach? http://www.gmc.cc.ga.us/milledgeville/ask_expert.html

Spelman is a private college, it costs more. Georgia State is a public state college, it costs much less. Which is best? Doesn't matter, unless you are short on cash, then pick Georgia State to save money. Because you get your medical degree in graduate school, so you will have 6-8 years of college after you finish your BA or BS degree. It would make sense to me, to save money at the public college, then transfer to a better Medical School, where your costs are going to be higher. You must have a GPA of at least 3.5 to be accepted in most graduate schools, especially in medical field. So, also think about going to college where you can earn highest GPA. You may want to consult with a local school counselor for answers to these questions. (they have experience answering them for juniors and seniors looking for best schools) 1. Which of these schools has the highest graduation rate? 2. Which one is best for medical field ?(i.e, has good pre-med classes) 3. Which one has better chance for you to get scholarship, or financial aid?. 4. Is one or the other a better college to get a high GPA? (some colleges are easier graders, I'm guessing that state college is easier than a private college, but don't know, a counselor down there should know) Finally, always factor in to your decision the transportation costs for you to attend either college. Costs for going back and forth between college and your home can almost exceed tuition costs each year. So, if one college would save your hundreds of dollars in transporation costs (due to being closer, or having public transportation there), I'd pick the college where my commute is much less, if all other things were equal. Good luck.
