Answer 1 :
colleges shouldn't be chosen by which one is best, it's which one offers you the opportunity to pursue the degree and career path you've chosen.
Answer 2 :
Georgia Tech is a world class university. Their Management school is superb. UGA is a first tier national university. GSU is a 2d tier national university. Apply to all three - good luck to you -

I'm looking for a college/university to attend with an exceptional music program close to Georgia

I'm looking for a college/university to attend with an exceptional music program close to Georgia.?
I am a high school senior college searching. At the moment I want to major in vocal performance and minor in theatre. I also want to have a good liberal arts education. I really want the 'college experience' with a large school and athletics to attend. My voice professor is trying to convince me to attend schools like Oberlin Conservatory or CCM. I wouldn't be opposed if they weren't so far away from Georgia. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Clark Atlanta University located in Atlanta. Although its a historic black university, any race my apply and they have a nice mixture of "others"..especially within there graduate program. There liberal arts program rocks as it is a Liberal Arts College. The music program is awesome as well and the teachers are well known and respected. There is also Shorter College in GA. If you are not African American these choices MAY seem strange but if you have an open mind...i would check into the music programs of each. The schools are always open and willing to work with anyone.

Has anyone gone to Medix College in Smyrna, Georgia

Has anyone gone to Medix College in Smyrna, Georgia?
I'm thinking about taking the medical billing and coding course through Medix in Smyrna, Georgia. It is expensive, but they said they have job placement services after you graduate. Has anyone attended there? Would it be a good investment?

Answer 1 :
Please check out the school before giving any of your money. See if they will allow you to talk to three or so people that they placed. Visit the school and get the vibes. Contact the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney General to see if there have been any complaints./

What would be the best military college to go to in Georgia

What would be the best military college to go to in Georgia?
I want to join either the Air Force or the Navy.

Answer 1 :
There are only two military colleges in Georgia and one, GMC - Milledgeville is a military junior college and does not offer Afrotc or Nrotc but does offer the Army ECP(early commissioning program.) The other is NGCSU and only offers Army Rotc. Air Force Ots is not a viable commissioning source at the present time, only 132 slots in 2010, all were rated slots(flying.) Navy Ocs still commissions slightly more Ensigns than Nrotc, around 940, but has become very competitive. In more normal times Navy Ocs commissions about twice as many Ensigns as Nrotc. http://www.cnrc.navy.mil/noru/orojt3/generalofficer.htm Georgia residents can go to Maritime College at 150% of the state resident rate. Maritime College has an Nrotc Battalion on campus. See Faq "How do I qualify for In Region rates." http://www.sunymaritime.edu/Business%20and%20Enrollment%20Services/Student%20Accounts/FAQ/index.aspx You could definitely go to GMC- Milledgeville and transfer to a College that offers Nrotc and have a good chance of getting into the two year Nrotc/Afrotc program after having done two years of Rotc at a Military Junior College. As far as Colleges in Georgia offering Afrotc/Nrotc, the best is Georgia Tech. Good description of Nrotc by reading the Faq on the website of the nation's first Nrotc Battalion: http://navyrotc.berkeley.edu/faq.shtml More helpful Faq: http://www.colorado.edu/NROTC/faq.html Good description of Afrotc: http://airforcerotc.berkeley.edu/_afrotc-program.htm Helpful to read all the Faq, Scholarships, College Life etc: http://afrotc.com/help-center/faqs/ Good Luck!
