Small University in Milledgeville with 3 colleges Health Sciences Education Liberal Arts Sounds wonderful if you really intend to focus on your studies. It has an outstanding retention rate - 84% is extremely good and shows that students like it there. It is definitely not "rednecks with money" - this is a school for serious students, one of the finest in Georgia and the entire deep South. There are a number of these small wonderful colleges around the country in small cities - Southwestern U in Georgetown Texas, or Willamette U in Oregon come to mind. By all means check out GCSU with an open mind and knowlege of yourself.
Answer 2 :
Social Life= depends on you Work Ethic= laid back Campus= beautiful, small, easy access to everywhere Clubs= yes Greek Programs= pretty big and plenty Quality of Education= again, depends on you Surrounding Area= Milledgeville has just about everything packed into a fairly small town; lake, river, mall (small), movie theater, walmart, plenty of restaurants and bars, parks, golf courses, historical sites, etc. Others= GCSU main sports are basketball, baseball, soccer, and softball. Can I get Hope Scholarship if I'm not a resident of Georgia but planning to attend a college in Georgia?
I went to my first two years of high school in Georgia, but I moved to Oklahoma. I plan on attending Mercer University. I was wondering if I am able to obtain the Hope Scholarship. My GPA is a 3.67 and my ACT score was a 27.
