There are only two military colleges in Georgia and one, GMC - Milledgeville is a military junior college and does not offer Afrotc or Nrotc but does offer the Army ECP(early commissioning program.) The other is NGCSU and only offers Army Rotc. Air Force Ots is not a viable commissioning source at the present time, only 132 slots in 2010, all were rated slots(flying.) Navy Ocs still commissions slightly more Ensigns than Nrotc, around 940, but has become very competitive. In more normal times Navy Ocs commissions about twice as many Ensigns as Nrotc. http://www.cnrc.navy.mil/noru/orojt3/generalofficer.htm Georgia residents can go to Maritime College at 150% of the state resident rate. Maritime College has an Nrotc Battalion on campus. See Faq "How do I qualify for In Region rates." http://www.sunymaritime.edu/Business%20and%20Enrollment%20Services/Student%20Accounts/FAQ/index.aspx You could definitely go to GMC- Milledgeville and transfer to a College that offers Nrotc and have a good chance of getting into the two year Nrotc/Afrotc program after having done two years of Rotc at a Military Junior College. As far as Colleges in Georgia offering Afrotc/Nrotc, the best is Georgia Tech. Good description of Nrotc by reading the Faq on the website of the nation's first Nrotc Battalion: http://navyrotc.berkeley.edu/faq.shtml More helpful Faq: http://www.colorado.edu/NROTC/faq.html Good description of Afrotc: http://airforcerotc.berkeley.edu/_afrotc-program.htm Helpful to read all the Faq, Scholarships, College Life etc: http://afrotc.com/help-center/faqs/ Good Luck!
