to teach at a private college or institute in the state of georgia, do you need a certification?
Can anybody tell me the requirements to be a teacher at a private college/institute in the state of Georgia. Are there any laws on being a private teacher??

No difference...Public or Private.. Here's more info on it...... Alternative Georgia Teacher Certification is available through a number of routes. The Georgia Teacher Alternative Preparation Program (TAPP) is available to anyone holding a PSC-approved degree. TAPP begins with a 2-year intern program, followed by full acceptance in TAPP at a participating school. Teachers with expired certification, or teachers who wish to obtain certification in an additional subject-area may apply for a non-renewable certificate. In special cases, standardized tests are available for expedited certification. A detailed list of alternative certification routes is available through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
